Competition winners

We are delighted to announce the winners of our final competition generously sponsored by Generali Worldwide and PPF Partners.

Each candidate had to present a portfolio of three pictures. The judges were looking for a coherent portfolio with a strong artistic vision on the theme of “identity”. The judging panel consisted of Jean-Christophe Godet as Chairman (Festival Director), Karl Taylor (professional photographer), Nick Després (professional photographer), Gavin Tradelius (Director Generali Worldwide) and Anna Lisa Detassis (PPF Partners).

The winner received £1,000 (sponsored by Generali Worldwide and PPF Partners) to be used to produce a portfolio of 15 photographs for exhibition at the 2011 festival. The winner also received an IPAD (donated by IQ Music & Computer Solutions) and a signed book by one of this year’s exhibitors.

The second prize received a Nikon D90 camera and lens kit and a signed book by one of the year’s exhibitors (sponsored by Generali Worldwide and PPF Partners)

The third prize received a one day photography workshop donated by Jean-Christophe Godet and a signed book by one of this year’s exhibitors.

Judah Passow – Souvenir from Guernsey

Here is some feedback from Judah Passow after his visit to Guernsey.
